Kafgar KR-120 Industrial Type Coffee Roaster (120 kg)
The Kafgar KR-120 is a gas-fired industrial drum coffee roaster with a 120 kg (265 lb) batch. It roasts up to 360 kg of green coffee per hour in 12–16 minute cycles, for high-volume roasting plants and coffee producers.
Heating is LPG, LNG or natural gas with 140 kW heat power. The KR-120 has a stainless steel housing, 5 motors, PLC control with drum speed control, a load hopper and an air-vacuum cooling chamber, and it is compatible with Artisan and Cropster. Standard supply is 380 V / 50–60 Hz (110 or 220 V on request) with an 18.5 kW power requirement.
Plant integration: the machine measures 350x420x320 cm and weighs 3200 kg, so foundation, gas line and exhaust routing are planned with the plant layout. Kafgar supplies the loader, destoner and afterburner for the line; silos and packaging machines can be supplied as part of the same project. The KR-120 is CE marked under the EU Gas Appliances Regulation (EU) 2016/426.
