Kafgar KR-240 Industrial Type Coffee Roaster (240 kg)
The Kafgar KR-240 is a gas-fired industrial drum coffee roaster with a 240 kg (529 lb) batch and up to 720 kg of output per hour in 12–16 minute cycles. It is built for coffee producers and large roasting plants that run several shifts a day.
Heating is LPG, LNG or natural gas with 140 kW heat power. The KR-240 has a stainless steel housing, 5 motors, PLC control with drum speed control, a load hopper and an air-vacuum cooling chamber, and it is compatible with Artisan and Cropster. Standard supply is 380 V / 50–60 Hz (110 or 220 V on request) with a 12 kW power requirement.
Plant integration: dimensions are 200x400x240 cm and the weight is 5000 kg. The KR-240 is planned as part of a complete line with green coffee intake, loading, destoning, an afterburner and roasted coffee handling; Kafgar prepares the layout with the customer. It is CE marked under the EU Gas Appliances Regulation (EU) 2016/426.
