Kafgar KR-15 Shop Type Coffee Roaster (15 kg)
The Kafgar KR-15 is the largest shop type drum coffee roaster in the Kafgar range: a 15 kg (33 lb) batch and up to 45 kg of output per hour in 12–16 minute cycles. It is built for roasteries that supply cafés and retail customers in volume but do not yet need an industrial line.
The KR-15 is gas only (LPG, LNG or natural gas) with 58 kW heat power; electric heating is not offered from 15 kg upward. It has a stainless steel housing, 4 motors, PLC control with drum speed control, a load hopper and an air-vacuum cooling chamber. It is offered for 110, 220 or 380 V at 50–60 Hz with a 4 kW power requirement, and it is compatible with Artisan and Cropster.
Dimensions are 145x185x160 cm and the weight is 480 kg. A green bean loader, destoner and afterburner from Kafgar can be connected to it. The KR-15 is CE marked under the EU Gas Appliances Regulation (EU) 2016/426.
