Kafgar KR-3 Shop Type Coffee Roaster (3 kg)
The Kafgar KR-3 is a shop type drum coffee roaster with a 3 kg (6.6 lb) batch and up to 9 kg of roasted output per hour in 12–16 minute cycles. It suits cafés that sell their own beans and small roasteries that supply a few wholesale accounts.
The KR-3 can be built for LPG, LNG, natural gas or electric heating, with 27.5 kW heat power. It has a stainless steel housing, 4 motors, PLC control with drum speed control, a load hopper and an air-vacuum cooling chamber. Supply voltage is 110, 220 or 380 V at 50–60 Hz and the power requirement is 1.5 kW. Roast profiles can be logged in Artisan or Cropster.
The machine measures 95x140x125 cm and weighs 180 kg. Gas models are CE marked under the EU Gas Appliances Regulation (EU) 2016/426. An afterburner can be added where local rules limit roasting smoke.
